Jozef Dóczy was a known Slovak actor. He was known for a lot of comic characters. Throughout his acting career he played in more than 120 films, TV productions and entertainment programs. Dóczy was a member of Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra more than 50 years. He got a several awards for his works, like Merited artist, Jozef Kroner award for lifetime achievement, Award of city Nitra for lifetime achievement and Award of Ludovit Stur II. for exceptional contributions to the development of arts, particularly theater. Dóczy was the father of two sons - Jaroslav and Peter, who are known in the field of music and media.
