was an Indian actress, chiefly known for her roles in Telugu cinema.
She was married to actor Devadas Kanakala, and their son, Rajeev Kanakala, also became an actor.
After retiring from acting, she became a coach and ran her own institute, her pupils including Tollywood stars such as Chiranjeevi and Allari Naresh. Chiranjeevi referred to her as "Saraswathi Devi (the goddess of knowledge)".
