Margaret Mary Ramsberger,nee McKenna was born on February 15, 1921 on Long Island, N. Y. She had a twin brother, James McKenna, and they were both born to James and Alice McKenna. They had an older sister, Alice, nee Tarpey and a younger brother Joe McKenna, who is the only survivor. The family relocated to Dunellen, N. J., where James took a management position with Art Color, Co., a company the manufactured many of the comic books of the time.
Margaret married Jack Ramsberger shortly before he was sent by the Army to fight in Italy during WWII. They were married in Salina, Kansas. After the war Margaret and Jack had four sons, Joseph, Thomas, Michael and Peter. They lived in Westfield, N. J., Jack worked for Moinihan & Co. as Executive Vice President. They company foresaw the growth of the airline business and became the major public relations agency for many of them. Later in his career he became the V. P of Eastern Airlines and finally Pan American. He died at age 47 after sustaining a fractured skill from an accident. He is buried at St. Gertrude's Catholic Cemetery in New Jersey. Margaret worked for many years at IPCO Hospital Supply Company in an administrative role. In 1985 she fell and broke her hip and went to her son Tom's home in San Antonio, Texas. Later that year Tom accepted a position with Kidde Corporation as manager of southwestern operations and relocated to Scottsdale, AZ. His Mother moved with his family and settled in Scottsdale. She died of lung cancer on October 17, 1993 and is buried in Scottsdale, AZ.
