He was an American portrait artist. Bouldin III became a professional portrait artist in the 1950. His paintings have been displayed in the White House and in more than 400 public and private collections. He was the first inductee of the National Portrait Artist Hall of Fame. He died at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
