Paul S Hinkle was a good friend. He was instrumental in giving me a sense of direction after graduating from HS in New York City. Although I was nearly 20 years younger than he was we still had much in common. We even took a trip across the country by train starting in New York and finishing in San Francisco. Paul was intellectual.
