Pierre taught me everything I know about culinary arts. He took me as a dishwasher at the Bombay Eagle in FT. Wayne Ind. and within 2 wks I was cooking and doing prep. He always was very kind to me although he could make Gordon Ramsey look like a school girl if he got angry w/ you. He taught me every station and I went on to be a Food and beverage director at several 3 star hotels and resorts in the Altanta area. I will always have fond memeoies of Pierre and the crew Corky, Al, Rick , John and Debbie. I have a love for cooking that was inspired by Pierre and his standard of excellece was second to none. If this finds any of you guys in the old Bombay eagle crew I think of you all often and would love to hear from you guys Corky you were the greatest call me if you guys see this Tommy Thompson 404-664-0658 I play music now and have toured the world I only cook for friends and family but when I pick up a knife I think of Pierre and I can still here him say "You are not a cook you are a frickin shoemaker". Pierre thank you for teaching a kid from Indiana what it means to be the best at what you do and to take incredible pride in what you do. For this I am forever grateful.
