The difference between family and relatives is that family refers to a group of relatives that typically lives together whereas relatives refer to people who are related to us by blood or legal means. In general parlance, family typically refers to the parents and children living together whereas relatives refer to the members of the extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Posted Jan. 2011.. I am the daughter of Ramey Wireman,Dad passed away in the hills of Kentucky,Magoffin co.,on the ridge in his hunting cabin which he and nephew John Salyer builded together. Dad died doing what he enjoyed most,hunting and the outdoors. My son Travis,cousin John Salyer and myself found Dad around 8 p. m. still clutching his beloved rifle in his hands. John was killed the following year in June of 2008 in the hills riding his 4-wheeler doing what he also enjoyed most. maybe a couple miles from where dad died as the crow flies in Beetree hollow near my home. Their deaths has devastated family and friends. Left to mourn are wife Bessie,1 son,6 daughters,5 gr-sons,7 gr-daus,4 gr-gr sons,1 gr-gr dau., since his passing 1 gr-gr son,2 gr-gr daus. have been born,with another gr-gr son to arrive in April of 2011.
