Biography

Sheila K Spangler Sheila was the kindest and most loving woman I ever knew. She was a brilliant microbiologist and spoke 5 languages fluently. I never saw her angry, and she never uttered an unkind word about another. Sheila was my best friend, and I miss her. She had a rough up-bringing. She over-came it all and began her scientific education around the age of 30. When she died at the age of 48 she had published numerous papers in medical/scientific journals, and traveled the world to speak at conferences. Sheila was a mother and loved her daughter above all else. Sheila was simply the finest human being I have ever known.
