Biography
Sir Robert Anthony Clark He was an English naval officer (who fought in Second World War: Battle of the Atlantic, Battle of the Mediterranean, Italian Campaign) and businessmaan. Sir Clark was one of the City’s most influential merchant bankers of the 1970s. He worked as chief executive and then as a chairman of Hill Samuel. He was also the engineer of numerous high-profile takeovers, he was co-author in 1968 of the Takeover Code. Sir Clark married Marjorie Lewis in 1949 and they had togehter two sons and a daughter. Passed away on January 2, 2013.
