Followers
Followers are people who receive the updates and information.
Following is a similar concept on other social network services, such as Twitter and Instagram, where a person (follower) chooses to add content from a person or page to his or her newsfeed. Unlike friending, following is not necessarily mutual, and a person can unfollow (stop following) or block another user at any time without affecting that user's following status.

I miss my Uncle Tom. One of the kindest, gentlest persons, he died of AIDS, no family at his side. As far as I know, no family at his funeral. I don't know where he was buried or any details. I think he had a lover with him, I sure hope he did. I didn't know he had passed until much after the fact, some family reunion, "Oh, btw, Tom is dead from Aids." He was ostracized because of his homosexuality.
Dr. Thomas Kartak was the director of many theaters during his career, Nashville, Rochester, Asheville, Lawton, Honolulu and more. Earlier in his career he taught drama at Port Angeles High School.
