I can't believe it has been 26 years since the death of Zebedee Byrd. I am one of the youngest niece's of Zeb, his mother Rosie L Byrd past away a few years ago, along with his father Willie L Byrd a year almost to the date that Zeb did. His youngest sister was killed and her murderer has never been found, his youngest brother died of cancer a year before his mother did, and his nephew was killed a few years before that. There is now only two Byrd's alive from that generation. We are suppose to speak good of the dead, but what defines good? I was 14 years old when Zeb passed was killed, and now that I am 40 memories of him still haunt me.
