Al Brenner

He was a football player in the Canadian Football League for seven years. Brenner played with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Ottawa Rough Riders. (He won Grey Cups with the Tiger-Cats in ‘72 and the Rough Riders in ‘76.) He retired in 1977. His 15 interceptions in 1972 remain a single-season league record, while Brenner's 37 interceptions and 485 interception return yards with Hamilton are second overall in franchise history.
