Uncle Ralph was one of 8 children of Leving and Mary Netherlain. He and his wife, Herta, are buried next to them in Rosewood Cemetary, which somewhere in OK. The children of Leving and Mary are: Pauline "Pat", Robert, Dalford, Aubrey, Ralph, Mayre, Stanley and my dad, Houston; Stanley is the lone survivor. Uncle Ralph and Aunt Herta lived on the family farm in Hendrix, OK - at least during my lifetime.

Uncle Ralph's wife. They lived on the family farm in Hendrix, OK through my lifetime. They're buried together next to my grandparents, Leving and Mary Netherlain, in Rosewood Cemetary - OK. Not sure where it is, but it's not very far from Henrix, which is 4 miles outside of Bonham TX. Herta was German, and I believe they met through WWII - Uncle Ralph was a Sgt in the USAF during the war.

Aunt Vi was married to my Uncle Robert. I don't know much, other than she did attend my wedding in 1981.

Like my father, Alzheimer's took Uncle Robert's life (dad's life was shortened somewhat, though - he died at the age of 78). Robert's parents were Leving and Mary Netherlain, who had 8 children: Pauline "Pat", Dalford, Robert, Aubrey, Ralph, Mayre, Stanley, and my father, Houston. Robert and Dad were nearly identical in looks, but were nearly 30 years apart in age (I have a picture of Robert holding my daughter when she was two - 1985 - and she's still certain that was her "Papa" holding her).

Uncle Aubrey was one of 8 children of Leving and Mary Netherlain. His siblings were Pauline "Pat", Dalford, Robert, Ralph, Mayre, Stan and Houston (my dad). He raised his family in Ventura, CA, but they're now spreadout over Tx and parts of Southern California (and 1 daughter is in NY, I believe.)

This is my grandfather. His wife was Mary Belva Netherlain (maiden name of Biddle). Children: Pauline "Pat", Dalford, Robert, Aubrey, Ralph, Mayre, Stanley and my father, Houston. Uncle Stan is the lone survivor. Leving's father was Jesse David Netherlain, but I have no information about siblings. His mother was Mary Eugene Netherlain, (McNeal was her maiden name). Jesse was the last child born to John Britton Netherlain and was born sometime shortly after his JB's death as a Sgt of the Texas 7th Infantry of the Confederate Army. JB entered the war as a 35 year old farmer in Texas, in October of 1861 and died of disease in Clarksville Tn in January of 1862. JB's widow later married his younger brother, Lewis. JB had several other children, and is reportedly from England, born in 1826.
